Glenhaven Events Wedding

This was my first Glenhaven Events Wedding, and I have to say, the grounds and staff were amazing! 2020 couples have gone through a huge roller coaster with wedding planning, and finding those vendors who will go the extra mile certainly makes a difference. Dave and Sam shared about how the venue waived fees, and did everything in their power to make them feel special and taken care of.

This was my very first “Intimate Wedding” and although intimate, D + S made sure to have plenty of beautiful details to enhance the day!

Compilation of photos showing a woman getting ready for her wedding. There's also a photo of a pair of shoes.

Matching robes is one of my favorite bridesmaids gifts. These ladies were absolutely rocking it too! Here is a cute option from Etsy.

Two photos, side by side, of a bride and her bridesmaids. They are all together and laughing. She's wering white and they are wearing pink.

The Wedding Colors

The colors chosen for this wedding were beautiful. The bridesmaids were wearing two shades of dusty pink, and the personal attendants were wearing sage green. The beautiful flower bouquets hand silver dollar eucalyptus, roses, and peonies. I love that D+S didn’t forget to add in his and her vow books!

3 photos. One shows somes cards, the other shows the bride and the groom and the last one shows 3 bridesmaids.

When Dave and Sam met me at the my studio for their wedding consult, they brought me a box of macarons. At the end of their wedding, they gave me a box of Nothing Bundt Cake. And although gifts is probably my top love language, the reason I love these two is their big heart. Both of them are literally the sweetest people. I dealt with Dave as much, if not more than with Sam, as he was helping make sure all the details fell into place. They are true partners, and they care about the people in their lives, and the world around them. I often say “I choose my couples,” which is true, but I definitely feel like I hit the jackpot with these two.

Two photos. One of the bride and groom laughing and the other one of the bride holding a flower bouquet.

An Intimate Ceremony

Seats were grouped by family, with plenty of space between them. And there were only about 20 people total. I felt so lucky to be one of them, as I sat I heard the vows they wrote to each other.

Compilation of phots. One shows a sign with writings on it. The other shows a flower girl coming down the aisle. Another photo shows the groom smiling. There also a photo of three boys and one is carrying the wedding rings. The last photo shows the bride and her father coming down the aisle.

The flower petals at the end was one of my favorite parts!

Three photos. One has the bride and her father walking down the aisle. The other shows the bride and groom kissing. The last one shows them walking and holding hands while petals are thrown at them.

This intimate wedding had and hour and a half of getting ready/detail shots, 45 minutes of Bride and Groom shots, 30 minutes of wedding party shots, 15 minutes of family shots, and a 20 minute ceremony. I would say that’s a pretty perfect day where nothing got missed.

June 6 is a very important date for Dave’s family. He’s the 4th generation to get married on this date! And aren’t his grandparents just the cutest?

The Bridal Party

The sweetest bridal party! Kind, and thoughtful. But I couldn’t expect any less, considering they were the best friends and family of Dave and Sam! Now Mark… well, he needs some work (JK)!!!

I can’t be more obsessed with this color palette of the sage greens and dusty rose! And those flowers… wow! This Glenhaven Events Wedding was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

This photo on the right, with Dave wearing sneakers and sunglasses, is another wedding family tradition. Don’t you love traditions? Can you imagine how cute it will be when Dave and Sam’s kids get married and carry all these traditions forward??? Who knows, maybe I’ll be alive and can be the photographer haha!

Sam’s mom actually made the entire wedding party a mask! How sweet (and cute) is that? I lucked out too, since they gave me one for myself, and one for my husband too. And yes, Corona made an appearance FO SHO! But only as drinks.

Compilation of photos. One photo of the bride and groom wearing masks and holding two Corona beers. The other one shows the bride, the groom, the bridesmaids and the groomsmen holding up a Corona beer. The last one shows the groom and three groomsmen smiling and holding a Corona beer.

To Dave + Sam, thank you for trusting me with your wedding! I’m beyond honored to be your photographer, and friend! Cheers to YOU!
