Can we just take a moment to appreciate Blaire’s in home newborn session? I’m in love!! We did the photos at my client’s house, and things were as smooth as can be. Blaire was almost 3 weeks old, so feeding was going great, and she barely fussed! The more I do these in home newborn sessions, the more I love the relaxed feel of them.

I love that my job allows me to stay with my clients for years, capturing all their special moments. The first time I photographed Aaron and Justine was their engagement session! Then came their wedding, and yearly photos after. We’ve become friends and I can honestly say they have a place in my heart! Blaire’s in home newborn session was also an excuse to see this beautiful family again!

My daughter’s favorite book is Moo, Baa, La la la (it’s peeking on the lower, right corner)! I love a good book wall in kid’s rooms and playrooms! We are currently working on some fun things for our daughter’s playroom and I think I’ll do a blog post about it when it’s done! Oh the joys of parenthood!

I have lots of sessions to catch up on for sharing on the blog and on social, but the truth is after having my daughter things had to change quite a bit. I’m a full time mom, and that means time needs to be allocated differently :-). I still make sure my clients get taken care of, and see their images within days of their sessions, but blogging and social media had to take a cut haha! I’m hoping to find more time to blog this year though, so come back!
