Hey! Shakopee Newborn photographer here haha! I’m not sure if you knew, but I lived in Shakopee for a few years, and my American parents still live there. So I’ll gladly take the title of “Shakopee Newborn Photographer” any day! One of my favorite things about doing sessions in Shakopee is that I always stop by my mom’s for lunch before or after the session.

Last week I got to meet baby Lulu Rose and her family! Such an honor! I’m glad mom called in extra help, her sister, because the boys were so good about listening to her :-). After family photos, we focused on baby Lulu! I’m completely in love with her name: Lulu Rose. I’ve never met a Lulu before, and I think it’s so perfect for her! She wasn’t sleepy at all for our session, and mom worked extra hard to get her sleepy for her alone photos! I’m saving my absolute favorite for tomorrow, when the family gets to see the whole gallery! But I couldn’t help posting a little sneak peek today!

I absolutely love “in home” newborn lifestyle sessions. My business is definitely transitioning from the more posed, studio work. And although I still think those images are beautiful, for my own personal taste, these are the images my heart is really drawn to!

If you’re wondering what’s my favorite “newborn” outfit, it’s definitely the white onesie! And lots of muslim swaddles!

And some black and whites, because they are always so timeless! I always love to mix in some black and whites in my gallery! I always ask my clients if they prefer images in color, images in b&w, or a mix of both!
