There’s something incredibly sweet about working with a family for the first time. It’s kind of like going on a date. They are probably nervous wondering how their child is going to behave, if the nap was enough, if they remembered the snacks, bottle… The best thing I can say is, after 7 years of doing this full time, I have NEVER had a bad session :-). And by that I don’t mean the kids didn’t cry, throw themselves in the ground, run away from me, etc, I mean, I GOT YOU! I’m truly good at what I do (and maybe cocky), but I got you! Your photos will be stunning no matter how well (or bad) you think the session went. There are a few reasons for this, I think. 1. I LOVE kids, and I think they can feel that, and respond well to it. 2. My camera is FAST and will capture that hint of a smile that happens in a second. 3. I have EXPERIENCE in family/lifestyle photography so I’m confident I will deliver great photos. 4. I will sing, bark, dance, jump, whatever it takes to get smiles. 5. I GOT YOU. You will love your photos :-).
