This stunning in-home newborn session with River is going down as one of my favorites ever! It could be that I just adore his mom, but River was also such a chill, adorable model for his favorite photographer! Also, clients take note on the adorable outfits this family is wearing!!! Yes, yes yes! Mom’s gorgeous dress is from Lulus!

I asked mom and dad about his name, River, and I love that the reason behind it is a plethora of reasons. I hope I don’t butcher it as I’m going by memory here, but a couple are that mom grew up on the Mississippi River; then later she and her hubby lived by the river in Minneapolis… and there were more, and it all came down to river being a big part of their lives. Now, even more!

Now I can’t not mention Leo, the adorable first child! He’s such a good boy, and has been the best big brother to river! He loves the camera and I love him!

I mean, just look at that face! And I think you’re perfect Leo, especially your birth mark on your tongue!

River’s nursery is so adorable, and I can just imagine him growing here and spending lots of time reading and having fun! Mom did such a good job on all the details! I’m 100% not surprised though, as she’s an amazing wedding and event planner in Minnesota!
