I absolutely LOVE working with families! And how about these natural & candid family photos in Edina? I’ve always enjoyed working with kids, and at one point, I wanted to be a teacher. There’s something so rewarding in doing something that brings a big smile from a little one, and I love giving them a ton of attention during our sessions.

Getting those natural smiles is my favorite thing! And yes, that normally means I sing, bark, and do whatever it takes to get them happy for photos. I want it to feel like a playdate, and not a photo session. I want kids to twirl, jump, dance, and have fun!

My sweet clients will get a couple “looking at the camera” shots, but my goal is to take photos that show their love for each other. One question I always ask on the questionnaire I send out when they book is: “What do you want your kids to remember about their childhood?” and almost every parents says: “How much they were loved and how much fun we had as a family.” So I want to deliver images that show that!
