Finding a light and airy family photographer is actually not as easy as you might think! I love this style of shooting and editing, and think it’s so elegant and timeless! I bet these images will never look dated.

Also, if one of your kiddos likes to twirl, and dance, you bet I’ll ask for lots of action shots! And hugs will always be mandatory! Trust me, I’ll keep my distance because of COVID, but all want all the snuggles between my clients!

If you’re getting ready to have your own family session, just keep in mind kids (of all ages) will normally only last about 30-45 minutes before they start getting cranky, so don’t worry if your session is shorter than you expected. I can easily still deliver 50+ photos in that timeframe!

As a light and airy family photographer I really prefer lighter tones for outfits, and my clients do get a Style Guide to help them prepare for their session. Pastels make my heart sing…

These make me remember (and miss) my dancing days. If you were a dancer you know what I mean, right? I even miss my pointe shoes and sore feet.

It’s so fun to photograph families… and as I was editing these I just felt so honored so many of my clients are repeat clients, and I get to follow them on social media, and stay in touch through the years. It truly is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer!
