They drove three hours, from Iowa, for their engagement/family photos. When we had our wedding consultation over video chat I immediately liked Amos and Andrea. It could be that Andrea and I share a love for cats, and books; of the fact that Amos is just about the sweetest guy I’ve ever talked to, but we clicked, and soon after that call, they booked, and finally this weekend, we got to meet in person.

I have this AMAZING Engagement Session Style Guide (I’m almost done with the Family Session Style Guide), and have received many compliments from my clients saying how helpful it was when putting outfits together. From my point of view, it’s pretty fantastic to have my clients show up looking like this :-). No detail was missed! Amos gave all credit to his bride-to-be, Andrea. And the adorable dress their daughter were is a Target find. You’re welcome.

Amos and Andrea looked like movie stars in my opinion, but what got me was how easy the session went. I’m very picky with the couples I choose to work with, and I hit the jackpot with these two.

Major bonus was their daughter H, who called me Polly Pocket, and said she even had dreams of me. I was a black and white bee in her dream, I believe… Dream on, baby girl! Reach for the stars!

Trying to see if Target will have Miss H’s dress in my size :-)!!! Mom’s dress is from Girl Meets Glam and I MUST HAVE IT!

Andrea is a cancer survivor. Amos was by her side through it all. Not only that, she carried their baby girl while going through chemo treatments. She lost all her hair, and when it grew back, it grew completely different than before. She now has tight little curls. She had run getting is blown out for our session. Isn’t she just gorgeous?

One of the reasons I’m obsessed with this couple, their love is so strong. Amos has been her rock, someone she can always count on. He takes care of her, and keeps her save. And more, he makes her laugh… This is love, and I’m so honored I’m working with them!
