They’re both foodies, and after their honeymoon, Molly will join John in Chicago, where I’m guessing they will never run out of good places to eat! They are picky, and they picked each other…

Their wedding day was the most perfect Summer day, and they spent it with all their friends and family. Molly’s mom, Terri, came right away to greet me when I arrived, and she was so thoughtful throughout the day, even offering to send me home with more wedding cake! You guys the cake was made by Molly’s uncle, and it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! And if you know me, or follow me, you KNOW I’m a cake person!

When we had our engagement session, it was probably 0 degrees, because it was SO cold (See their engagement session here), so I think we were all quite happy with the sunny, warm day. John’s suit is from one of my favorite places, The Black Tux. I used them for my own wedding, and I would highly recommend their services. Just look and how handsome John looks! Save with a coupon code for The Black Tux from Wethrift!

I was blown away the minute I saw Molly. Her timeless look, stunning hair and makeup by Creative Beaute Agency, the elegant wedding dress by The Wedding Shoppe… And her flowers!!!! Oh my goodness the floral for the wedding was to die for!

I can’t get over the white dress, with the white flowers and greenery!

This was my first time shooting at the Wayzata Country Club, and I’m in love with this venue! Not only was it stunning, the staff there was amazing! The coordinator, Katherine, drove me around on a golf cart so I could see the grounds, and she was so kind as she explained the rules to me. Trust me, there are ways, and there are ways to tell someone about your rules, and she made it easy to understand everything. After dinner, as I was running around making sure we got all the shots, another staff person came to make sure I had eaten a proper meal. A venue with staff who cares about other vendors, is a venue I want to work with, so they are going on my preferred list for sure!

And can I just stop to tell you about Molly’s bridesmaids for a second? Stephanie, Kate, Laura, Ellen, and Molly (because I remember each one of them), were the absolute sweetest, and made it easy to understand why they were Molly’s tribe. These dresses, and color, were also perfect!

This wedding party is going down as one of my favorites ever! Tim, you won’t be easily forgotten! Mike, Rob, and Ellen, I call dibs on shooting all your weddings!

I was tough on these guys, but hey, I got you back in time for food, didn’t I?

John’s dad approached me a couple of times during the day, to tell me I was doing a wonderful job, and thank me. It always makes my day when people take the time to say things like that, so I want to thank him for doing that. Before I left his mom did the same. Great family, John, great family… Makes it easy to see why you are as awesome as you are. It all starts with the family you come from! Molly and John are both lucky with their families being so wonderful!

Let’s just take a second for the most adorable baby girl!!!!

Molly thought she got a little “bridezilla” during family pictures… Little did she know, and I told her, she was so kind and thoughtful throughout the whole thing. This girl couldn’t be bridezilla if she tried! It makes sense that Molly is so kind when you meet her parents. Molly’s dad, Doug, even carried my huge camera bag for me up the stairs at the church, so incredibly thoughtful!

The amount of times I’ve felt frustrated while shooting a church ceremony is countless. There are a LOT of rules about where I can be, if I can, or can’t stand up and walk around, if I can, or can’t sit in the front… All I want is to get the very best pictures for my couples. This church was not only GORGEOUS, as in, I walked in and immediately said: “wow!,” but shockingly, there weren’t as many rules as I’m used to. Cheers to that!

Ok STOP here for a second!!! You know me and extra exclamation points, and over use of all caps for extra excitement, but seriously, just look at these centerpieces, decor, the stunning wedding cake (did you catch that her uncle made the cake???)!

Ladies and gentleman… when a Doboszenski marries a Policinski :-)! <3!

And just in case you forgot… when your photographer says it’s time for Sunset photos, stop everything and go, because this is what happens…
