I can’t believe I’m actually sending Christmas cards for the first time in at least 5 years!!! I thought of sending some with pictures of the cats and I some years back, BUT, I figured not all of you are cat lovers, right? My husband loves Christmas (so do I), and since this past year we kind of got MARRIED, I had all I needed to send out gorgeous cards!

My husband’s family sends out a card and a letter every year, and that’s what he wanted to do as well. I, on the other hand, wanted to send just a simple card, so we compromised with the card above. I think it’s absolutely PERFECT! It highlights some of our 2018 highlights, some of our 2018 favorite things, and our year in a nutshell.

For those of you who don’t know, my husband lives in Phoenix, and I live in Minneapolis. Once a month I visit for 7-10 days, so our biggest hope for 2019 is for him to move back here; although we have enjoyed time in Phoenix, and have made some wonderful friends there!

My family came from Brazil in April to be here for all the wedding festivities, and we all got to spend some time in our big house in Arizona! We also went to the Grand Canyon, a very fun road trip! In May we got married, it was the best day EVER, and I can’t even describe how I still feel every time I think about it. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon (we also met on a cruise!), and after the cruise we spent a week in a little island called Culebra.

The year went on full of highlights as I’m pretty sure I married one of the best guys alive. He spoils me every chance he gets, and I couldn’t be happier to call him husband. We went to a Jack Johnson concert with friends in Phoenix, he took me to Manny’s for date night in Minneapolis, we spent a lot of evenings just hanging out at our house, cooking things like vegetable beef soup and apple pie, and made many trips to Milan, MN (his home town), to see his family and play endless games of Settlers of Catan.

I think the biggest difference after getting married was feeling like I truly got a partner for life. A friend, and someone who I can count on.

I hope you are having THE best Christmas time with your loved ones, and my wish for your 2019 is all your heart’s desires!

Much LOVE,

Poly
