I think it was 2006 or 2007 when I met this fierce mom for the first time (although she was not a mom at the time). We were both young in our careers, and from my point of view, we totally hit it off right away. We grew in our businesses, and today Jes is THE BEST BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER the world has in it (she does a session for me every year!). She’s a business rock star, and her mission to empower women to love themselves just as they are makes me wish I could record her voice and listen to it everyday. The best part is that she is touching so many lives around her, including the life of her little daughter. Words are so powerful, and this little girl is being brought up with only words that will build her up.

I love heading to Cloquet for time with this family. It usually involves much needed time with Jes, a home cooked meal by Andy, aka SUPER husband and culinary genius, and snuggles with their little daughter, 2 puppies, one cat, two turtles… and I’m sure I’m missing someone! This family is all about rescuing pups and animals in need, and all about a good meal with good conversations.
