They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but for Mark and Erin, who met while playing a game of craps at the casino, the spark that started in Vegas came all the way back to Minnesota, where it turned into love.

I used to have a firm opinion on seeing each other before the ceremony. But the more I photographed weddings where the couple didn’t see each other before, the more I realized all I want is for my couples to have their dream day. If not seeing each other before is part of making their day what they’ve always dreamed it would be, than that’s what I want as well. Mark + Erin chose to not see each other before, so the moment Erin walked down the aisle was the first time they saw each other that day!

I love that this wedding party is all made of family members! And the black and white color scheme is just so classy and beautiful! Erin had told me she wanted an “Anthropology meets Black tie” wedding… She nailed it!

They compliment each other in every way, and he makes her laugh all the time. I bet they didn’t think they would ever find their soul mate in Vegas, but they sure beat the odds! A couple of weeks before the wedding they went on a cruise to relax and enjoy each other; and for the Honeymoon, VEGAS!

Windows on Minnesota was another new venue for me, and I was blown away by how beautiful the views were from the 50th floor! Stunning decorations, beautiful speeches, and Buttercream cake… It was PERFECT!
