I remember my Skype meeting with Adam and Brooke, and feeling like they were both so sweet, and exactly the kind of couple I like to work with! They shared their dream of getting married by a lake, with just their families as witnesses. A&B are a very unique couple. Neither have facebook or Instagram, and now that they just bought their first house together, they are even wondering if having a TV is a good idea. For these two, there are so many things that are more important.
The spot they chose for the their wedding, the Fair Hills Resort, was perfect for their intimate elopement. The cabins didn’t even have TV! It was all about spending precious time together.
Even though it was a small wedding, Brooke spent months calling her mom, grandma, and sister pretty much daily to plan all the small details.
Beautiful shades of blue for the bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen ties were perfect for the lake setting. I love that the wedding party was all family as well!
The Pine Room at Fair Hills was transformed for their reception, and everything looked beautiful. Lori, their wedding planner took care of everything to make Brooke’s vision come alive. The weather was perfect, allowing for open windows, and the sound of waves crashing right outside.
After dinner and a little dancing, everybody went to the beach for s’mores! The night couldn’t have been more perfect! Congrats Adam & Brooke!
