THE WEDDING DAY
Gavin and Maria’s wedding day started at this beautiful house in the country. December 9th was cold, snowy, and had the most beautiful sunset any winter bride could ask for.
THE FIRST LOOK
Their first look was so special. Gavin mentioned how much he liked that he was able to see Maria before the ceremony… And can I just say, the light was spectacular at that moment. The clouds diffusing the sun and making everything glow!
THE WEDDING PARTY
Oh this wedding party rocked it! I totally call dibs on photographing all their weddings because I can see why G+M had them standing with them on their wedding day.
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony took place at the gorgeous Church of St. Peter. The staff was very accommodating which always leads to a lot more beautiful pictures, and details for the bride and groom. I got to sit at my favorite spot at a ceremony, which is the third pew, on the left side. It’s the best for getting all the important details!
THE PERFECT SUNSET PHOTOS
There’s something truly magical about winter weddings. Although the high was around 20 degrees, M&G rocked their sunset photos, and these have quickly become some of my favorite winter wedding photos EVER! It’s ok to drool, they are gorgeous! I have to point out the sky, which looked exactly like the photos, and how the white snow bounced the most beautiful light on them…
THE WEDDING RECEPTION
So many details to wrap up the most perfect wedding day! One of my favorite parts of the reception was Maria’s dad’s speech. He shared Gavin drove 5 hours (each way) to ask for his blessing to marry Maria. He also shared about the sentiments of giving Maria away to Gavin, and how if he couldn’t keep her, Gavin was the perfect choice to take care of his daughter… Oh goosebumbs!
