I started telling the love story of Fabrizio and Laura on my last blog post (read it here). This has been, by far, one of my favorite engagement sessions. Our session started with a wonderful Italian meal prepared by Fabrizio and Laura. To make things even better, they got macarons for dessert (my absolutely favorite!).
Then it was time to head downstairs where the story continued. When Fabrizio gave me the house tour, as we were walking downstairs he showed me the many posters that are hanging on the walls, and told me they were all of bands around the world. Music is a big part of their love story as well. They love going to concerts, and Fabrizio dreams of a family full of little musicians.
The walls in the basement are painted in the same color as their last little apartment. They brought the cozyness with them to their very large, forever home. The bathroom downstairs also has little band posters, as well as concert tickets from concerts they’ve been to, all on the walls. Laura has poured so much into turning their house into a home, and making sure their love story is present in every room. I honestly wanted to spend the entire day there, capturing the things that mean so much to them.
I asked Fabrizio if he played, and he said “A little bit!” When I asked him to play for us, I was SHOCKED! Not only is he an amazing cook, I felt like we were in a private concert. It was magic!
We went upstairs to pick outfits for the next part of our session, and I was so blown away by Laura’s closet I just had to get a few photos in there! If I’m not mistaken, one of Fabrizio’s first gifts to Laura was a pair of shoes. Obviously the girl and I share a love for fashion, animal print, and adorable cats, so I’m so happy she found a guy that supports all of that :-).
I think we’ll need a part 3 to this session, because I still have SO much to share about Fabrizio and Laura! Stay tuned!
