A winter wonderland family session is something every Minnesotan family should experience! Although it was about 15 degrees out, we braved the cold and I’m so happy with how these turned out! I should also say, this family is very dear to me. We met years ago, when I had just gone full time with my business, and even though we don’t do photos yearly, we’ve stayed in touch! Dennis is one of those multi talented people and a local super hero! Due to the pandemic he had to take a little break from being Spider Man (check out his Awesome for Hire Facebook page here), but has stayed busy as a writer. Equally awesome is Holly (aka: mom). I’ve always felt such a connection to her. She even gave me a dress she wore to one of our sessions together! I’ll explain, Holly is tall, Poly is short. Holly dried the dress after washing it, and it shrunk. Holly remembered Poly loved the dress… So Holly gave it to Poly and made Poly so happy. I just love stories with happy endings like this.

Dennis and Holly made J, and he’s another awesome and kind human being. Being parents is never an easy task, and I’m so proud of them for the kind of examples they are to J! I’m sitting here at my desk, writing, and thinking of all the times this family was in front of my camera. I feel so blessed :-).
