I used to take family photos at the Arboretum all the time! It’s an absolutely stunning location, and I swear I can have sessions there every day for a year and I wouldn’t have to repeat a spot. It’s lush, full of blooms, and even in the winter it’s a beautiful background. When I moved to Minneapolis I didn’t renew my permit to shoot at the Arboretum, and so I went less and less there. Last month I had a client ask to shoot there, and after the session I just knew I had to get the yearly permit so I could start taking my clients there again!

I have been working with this sweet family for over a year now, but it feels like we’ve known each other for years! I just love them and have really enjoyed getting to know them better! Mom is an amazing artist, and you can see her beautiful work here!

We met for the first time when this precious baby girl was just a little newborn!

And now we did family photos at the Arboretum! I love how we captured them so well! Here’s what mom said:
