This family studio photo shoot has my heart completely melted! Baby Z is ONE, walking, talking, and melting everyone’s heart around her! When I saw her adorable pierced ears, I knew it was time to get my daughter’s years pierced too! I asked mom and dad where they took her, and they said TARGET! After taking my daughter there, I would highly recommend it. A nurse does the piercing, and uses a gentle, hand-pressured device with pre-sterilized 14k gold or stainless steel earrings to pierce. They don’t use piercing guns (like places like Claire’s do), which are spring loaded and can damage the ear tissue.

And can you imagine being baby Z years from now, looking at these photos? I bet it will be the biggest smiles to her face because you can just feel the love and care mom and dad have for her!

I often stay away from direct sun in my photography, but let’s be honest, this light is STUNNING! I’ve decided to start incorporating more direct sunlight into my photos :-).
