Minna’s in-home newborn session turned out just as beautiful as can be! It definitely helps Whitney and Nick’s living room had huge windows to let in all the glorious sunlight. This was my first full session since the birth of my daughter, and I have to say I was a pile of nerves as I drove the 45 minutes to their house. BUT, I’ve worked with this family before, and they are some of my favorite humans out there! Needless to say, as soon as I walked in I felt like I was visiting friends, and the session flowed perfectly!
I made the switch to Lifestyle newborn photography about a year ago, and I’ll never go back. I love how natural these images are. When I was hiring a photographer to photograph my daughter’s newborn photos, this was also the style I chose for our pictures. I still think super posed baby photos are beautiful, but at the end of the day, these natural photos are the ones that touch my heart as an artist.
We had big brother join in the fun as well! I photographed his newborn session a few years back. His big smile absolutely melts my heart to pieces! And man does this family have gorgeous hair… Wow!
Minna’s in-home newborn session was a success! If you’re wondering about her adorable outfit, it’s from Target!
I’m only taking a limited number of sessions until I’m back to work 100% on April 1st. Which means if you’re looking for a session with me get in touch ASAP! I’m giving my old clients priority in booking right now, but will be taking new clients starting in April.
And thank you to all of you who read my daughter’s birth story and sent me messages! I was blown away by all the love you guys sent over, and read each and every message! I’ll keep sharing our journey here…
Much love, Poly
