I arrived in the cute little town of Rochester super excited to shoot at this new location. Ted and Sam’s wedding took place at the stunning Plummer House. My jaw hit the ground when I saw how beautiful the property was. The English Style Tudor look is one of my favorites!
Sam’s mom wrote her a beautiful card, and she read it right before her mom helped her into her wedding dress!
Three of my favorite photos from this wedding! I just love the look of mom and her maid of honor, seeing her in her bridal gown, and all ready to get married! Then a big hug from her best friends, and finally, Sam putting on her earrings at one of the beautiful rooms at the Plummer House.
I spent all day drooling over Sam’s dress and flowers!!! Her hair hair was absolutely perfection with that flower detail! Stephanie Knutson did a fabulous job with the hair style!
It was a smaller wedding, with pretty much ALL their favorite people in the world! I love that Sam said having me there was like having a friend shooting her wedding, because that’s exactly how I felt!
Ruby did so good running down the aisle (she even stopped halfway to shake her booty, than ran towards Ted!
So many memorable moments at the ceremony! Sam’s bridesmaid, Jenny, sang one of my favorite songs! I actually took a quick photo, and took my phone out to record her singing. It was perfection! Ted and Sam planted a tree for their unity ceremony. I love the symbolism of the care and nurture we need to give a tree for it to grow strong, same with marriage.
And just like that, right outside the Plummer House, Ted and Sam said “I do.”
The cutest flower girl, little Ruby!!!
This room had the peachiest walls, and I immediately felt like I was on a trip somewhere outside the country. Still can’t believe a place like this exists just an hour and a half away from the cities…
The matching tattoos were a big hit! And how fun to take a moment to pop some champagne with just your wedding party right after the ceremony?
I can’t even with Sam! Seriously, how gorgeous is she?!
Sam’s mom did SO much to make the whole day special. She made all the sweets, cake, cupcakes, bars… Everything looked (and tasted) wonderful. And her dad also helped with everything, including making beautiful wood boards to display the food during cocktail hour.
The sun didn’t come out for sunset photos, but we went out anyways! Sunset photos (with or without sun) are some of my favorite shots from a wedding day! All the wedding day stress is behind us, and we just have fun!
That dress, and those flowers….
Huge congrats to you two! And thank you so much for the honor of being your wedding photographer, and now friend!
