I’m not going to lie, I kept checking the weather and seeing the -1 (but feels like -13 with windchill), and I was feeling like I should find a warmer day for the session, BUT instead, I hopped on Amazon, and bought hand warmers, body warmers, super thick awesome wool socks, found a pair of jeans I could wear on top of leggings, added about 7 layers of clothes, and walked out to my car fearing if I fell, I would probably never get up again.
When Sydney and Jeremiah walked through the door of where we were meeting, all my anxiety and fears went away, and I knew it was going to be amazing. They clearly adore each other, and flannels, vests, wool blankets and Timberland boots are my winter love language, so we did it! We braved the weather, and I couldn’t be more excited with all the love I see these images!
Don’t worry I’m already working on a blog post about how to stay warm during winter sessions, and it’s going to be what I’ll go back to every year when the fear of shooting in below freezing temps hit me!
Back to these two love birds, I couldn’t be happier they are tying the knot. They clearly belong together, and when you know, you know. Cheers to a lifetime together…
