I love that I’ve shot both Emily and Kerri’s wedding, and that I’m still their family photographer after all these years! It was probably 5 or 6 years ago that I went to their parents’ house for the first time to photograph Emily and Chris’ engagement session. That was the first time I had Emily’s chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes. If you know me well, you’ve probably heard about them. Then I went back and photographed Emily’s getting ready shots, at the same house, on her wedding day. That big, beautiful house was where Emily and Kerri grew up pretty much their entire lives. It was there that their other little sister spent 17 years of her life, before passing away. So many memories in that big, beautiful house. This month two things happened, they sold the big house, and Kerri had her first baby. So much to celebrate, and more memories being made. The sunflower in the pictures is for Leslie, who’s always watching from heaven!
