Fabrizio and Laura are one of those couples you know will stay together forever. I wanted their wedding day to be perfect for them, and the high chance of rain had me biting my fingernails! We came up with a “rain” plan, and I kept praying the rain would stop.

At the end of last year I made of list of things I wanted to improve on for my business, and one of them was detail shots. I invested in some really cool items, and I just love the improved results! Learning how to better style an invitation suite has been one of my favorite changes.

Laura’s “something blue” was her mother-in-law’s gorgeous ring… Swoon!

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place at the Basilica of St. Mary, in Minneapolis. The very first basilica of the United States. The architecture is breathtaking, and when the choir sings, it’s hard to not think of angels singing in heaven.

One of my favorite pictures I took is below, of Laura, with her mom holding her veil…

THE BRIDE AND GROOM

It was perfect that Fabrizio and Laura didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, because the rain DID stop, and we were able to go with our original plan for photos outside!

THE WEDDING PARTY

I absolutely loved the intimate wedding party! Fabrizio chose his 3 siblings, and Laura chose her sister, and her two best friends! Between champagne and lots of laughter, we had some fun shooting in Loring Park, and the cute little alley by Cafe Lurcat

THE RECEPTION

I love when a client chooses a venue I haven’t shot at! The Varsity Theater was a stunning option, and I had a great experience working with them. It was beautifully decorated, and L&F did a fantastic job of adding personal touches that relate to their love story.

My favorite part of the entire wedding was probably when Fabrizio joined the Bluewater Kings Band! He played the guitar, and sang, and honestly, he was the best musician on stage!

L&F, THANK YOU for letting me be part of wedding day, it was a true honor!!!
