Nine years together and it was time to say “I do.” Rob and Heather chose Door County for the wedding festivities, a place they both grew to love after many visits through the years. Heather and the bridesmaids got ready at the Baileys on the Rocks Cottages.
The Ceremony
Rob and Heather chose to have an intimate ceremony at Boynton Chapel. This little church was built between 1939 and 1947, and was big enough to fit their immediate families and wedding party. The ceremony was intimate, and beautiful!
The Bride and Groom
It was such an honor to see these two tie the knot! They love each other, respect each other, make each other smile… They are an inspiration to everyone around them.
The Wedding Party
This wedding party simply the best! Fun and sweet. R&H are surrounded by people who love and cherish them. And to think I met Heather when I photographed her friend’s Amanda wedding… who was a bridesmaid to Heather! And Mark, who was groomsmen to Rob! Having Heather’s little brother as one of the groomsmen was also the cutest thing ever!
The Reception
The reception took place at Mr. G’s, where all guests joined in the fun of the wedding day! I loved seeing both H&R’s favorite treats for everyone to taste, the delicious selection of desserts, and all the details Heather worked so hard on. Everything looked beautiful!
Right before I left we went out for a few photos at sunset… That light though… I can’t even…
