I was so excited when Vanessa contacted me to ask about maternity photos. The funny thing is, she didn’t tell me she was Brazilian! She did say it was her first time having photos done in the US, so when I replied to her, I told her I was Brazilian, and the rest is history! 

Our session was yesterday, and let me tell you, it was a high of 9 degrees! It was cold, but, it was also snowing, and the light was glowy and beautiful… Vanessa is a gorgeous mommy-to-be, and I love that she’ll have these pictures to show baby Kevin later. 

If you’re wondering if it gets cold to shoot outside, the answer is yes, yes, and yes. We chose the Arboretum in Chanhassen for the reason. It’s a great place to have a winter session, as the main building has many cute spots right off of it, so you can keep going inside and warming up. I hope you love these as much as I do!
