Justine came all the way from Michigan to find love in Minnesota. As I heard the story about how they met during the ceremony, which was performed by one of their best friends, it became so clear to me how sometimes love at first sight really does happen.

I met Justine at her venue to wrap up a couple of things the day she officially booked me, and it was that day I met some of her bridesmaids/personal attendants. I was also that day I realized Justine was not only super special, she was also surrounded by a glorious tribe of strong, fantastic women.

As I hung out with them while they were getting ready, I knew Justine’s day was going to be flawless, and one of the reasons, was the support system around her…

And I can’t not mention that the beautiful pearls she wore for the ceremony were her grandmother’s. The pearls were worn by her mother, as well as all her sisters on their wedding day. How special!

All the while in the man cave, Aaron’s guys blew me away by their thoughtfulness and kindness, ability to sing in tune, and be comfortable in front of the camera. No awkwardness at all with this group. I almost felt like one of the guys, at at times!

The Bride and Groom

And then the first look happened, and it was absolutely perfection. I think it’s because Justine’s wedding dress is just about the prettiest thing anyone has ever laid eyes on, and she has glorious hair, and her flowers by Sadie’s Couture Floral were just spectacular… And Aaron just looked stunned and like he knew he was the luckiest man alive in that moment.

The Wedding Party

That fact that puppy Maestro made an appearance just melts my heart! Isn’t he absolutely adorable????

Ummmm…. And her girls again, wearing the best dresses, and the fact that the weather and lighting that day was perfect… I can’t even.  One of my favorite moments of the entire day, was Justine’s dad seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress. So emotional it brought tears to my eyes!

The Ceremony

With personal touches everywhere, this ceremony will never be forgotten. From having one of their best friends officiate the wedding, to their friends, to heartfelt readings, and musical performances. Justine walked down the aisle to “Stand by Me,” one of my absolutely favorite songs.

The Reception

Lots of margaritas at Jefe in Minneapolis, and a few night photos, and it was time for the party to officially begin! Some of the best speeches I have ever heard, and the personal details made the night a complete success. Some of my favorite parts were the centerpiece logs, which were cut from a log Justine’s dad brought all the way from Michigan, and was cut by her dad and Aaron. The pillow with their wedding date, the polaroid pictures, the amazing world globe for the guests to sign… and thank you Justine and Aaron, for having macarons, they were delicious!

J&A, you guys are truly amazing, one of my favorite couples EVER! Cheers to you, and to your stunning wedding day!
