Jerrad and Aliyah met about five years ago, little did they know at the time they would become best friends and soul mates. Throughout the wedding I noticed just how well they fit together.

I was taking a few pictures of the invites, and when I came back, Aliyah was nowhere to be found. I asked where she was and her friends told me she left to see her future husband, and have a drink with him. And although I love those first look moments, it was truly special to know she just wanted to see him, have a drink, and celebrate the fact she was marrying the man of her dreams.

She chose every detail very carefully. Including having her grandma’s handkerchief hidden inside her dress. wearing pearls gifted to her when she was a child, and rocking two pairs of shoes to fit her style.

They have dreams of exploring Italy, Greece, London and Israel together. They hold each other and make each other laugh. They have son who lights up their faces… They share so much and love so deeply. It was an honor to capture that love in photos for them.

Aliyah’s flowers from Pristine Floral left everybody speechless. I met the owner, Jamie, as she set everything and loved the passion she showed for her work. It’s always fun to work with people who love what they do. I would highly recommend Jamie to any bride!

A’s maid of honor has been in her life since she was born. They are family and the best of friends! The dresses they picked were beautiful and the color perfect for a June wedding!

J had all his best friends next to him, and I love the personalized suspenders they were wearing.

And then it was time to say “I do.” I love that their son walked mom down the aisle. Their hug once they reached dad brought most of us to tears.

The ceremony and reception took place at Pinstripes in Edina. It was my first time shooting there, and I have to compliment the staff for being wonderful and accommodating. It’s rare to find a venue that takes such good care of everybody, including vendors like me. The staff repeatedly brought me water and made sure I didn’t need anything else. They were friendly and fast.

There are two bakers I’m completely obsessed with in Minnesota, and A hired one of them for my extreme happiness as I ate her fabulous cake and macarons. Tracy is the owner of Farina Baking Company and she’s absolutely FANTASTIC! For the wedding she made a delicious naked cake, macarons (my favorite!!!), and cupcakes!

It was a stunning day as Jerrad and Aliyah said I do! Mazel Tov!
