I walked in to a room with beautiful white, leather couches, lighted mirrors, gorgeous details everywhere, and I just knew I was in the right place. Mandi, my gorgeous bride, is one of those super inspirational women who IS conquering the world. She’s her own boss working with Monat, and has been my hair guru as a bring my hair back after it got destroyed 6 months ago. Back to Saturday, I would not have expected any less from Mandi, everything was perfect!

THE BRIDE AND GROOM

And then there’s Tom… The man fell head over heels with Mandi, and for the last 7 years they’ve built a true life of opposites attract. He likes to hunt and wear flannels, she’s always dressed up and fabulous. He is amazing cook, and she will gladly bring him the groceries! Throughout the day, over and over again, I saw their love for each other.

THE WEDDING PARTY

This group had me laughing so hard! With a wedding party of 16 people, plus the flower girl and ring bearer, I saw how much love Tom and Mandi have in their lives. Friendships take time to build, and for them, it’s been a priority.

The day I met Mandi for the first time for the wedding consultation Tom wasn’t present. In his place, was her best friend, and MOH, Kenzie. Because her opinion was just as important…

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place at Shepard of the Lake Lutheran Church, and I loved the freedom they gave me for photos. Other than no flash, which is standard at all churches, they were fine with me walking around to get my shots. Big shout out to them for this!

THE RECEPTION

The reception was at the stunning golf course, The Wilds. Stunning venue and the the decorations were beautiful. The gold, deer head centerpieces were my favorite! As I was photographing all the details, the smell of the donuts were everywhere, and when I finally got to eat one, I realized the smell didn’t even do it justice. Delicious donuts!

The bridal party and guests had a blast and danced the night away… As for me, when I left I went home to make sure bride and groom had at least one photo from the day to see right away! Priorities, right?
