You know when you meet a couple and it’s as clear as day they were meant for each other? That’s Mike and Bri. They make each other laugh, they have two beautiful children (and will probably start working on number 3 soon wink wink!), and are about the sweetest couple ever. To give you an example, Bri calls me Polly Pocket, and I secretly love that she has a nickname for me…  

This past Saturday I met them in Jordan and Mike couldn’t stop smiling. His face completely filled with joy. As if he had been waiting for this day his entire life. His wedding day. To his beautiful bride. My favorite part of the day? Mike actually sang to Bri at the wedding, and brought tears to everybody there. 

THE VENUE

I shot a wedding at the Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard for the first time last year, and absolutely fell in love with the location. Being I’m a huge apple fan, and making/eating apple pies is one of my favorite things to do in the Fall, this place just puts a big smile on my face. I also love a red barn wedding, don’t you? This barn is stunning, and the bride’s mom did such a good job decorating the place to perfection!  There were blankets and a fire, marshmellos for s’mores, pies for desert, with milk (my favorite combo). 

I think it was about five years ago that I met Mike and Bri, at the Walker in Minneapolis. They had just had their first baby and we met for family photos. I fell in love with them that day, and I’m really honored I got to photograph their wedding this past Saturday. Cheers you two! And thank you!
