I get asked all the time about what’s the perfect time of day for sessions… Of course the “Golden Hour” is the answer most photographers would give. A session that begins 1-2 hours before sunset, ending at sunset, is a Golden Hour session. The light is soft and beautiful. But that doesn’t always work for everybody. And when it comes to family sessions, I think the perfect time is whenever you think you child will do the best :-). This session started at 10:30am, on a super sunny day, and just look at that beautiful light!

E is 3 years old, turning 4 in January. Her mind is MIND BLOWING! She remembers so many details about me, our sessions, conversations we have when I drop off their orders. Conversations from months ago! During our session I saw her jump and twirl, eat M&Ms, tickle her parents, and I just felt lucky I get to see her grow!
