A wedding day is probably one of the happiest days in someone’s life. Nick and Amy have been together for 15 years, and Friday made it official, bring on “forever!”

The MN Landscape Arboretum in Chaska is one of my favorite places to go, and weddings there are absolutely amazing! If you’re looking to walk around and have everybody tell you how gorgeous you look and congratulations (all day!), this is the spot! 

Nick and Amy’s first look was magical. The unexpected tears and warm embrace made everybody around stop and smile. Yes, this is what love looks like! 

A big wedding party is no big deal when you hire a loud, Brazilian photographer! I was obsessed with the bridesmaids dresses… and that junior bridesmaid and the flower girls? So adorable! And the boys with suspenders??? I die! 

The Ceremony

The Arboretum has many different spots to choose from for a wedding. What you can expect from all of them is luscious green landscape, beautiful flowers, and a perfect background to say your “I dos.” I love Amy’s fan programs and lemon/lime water to help guests stay cool! 

The Reception

Chaska has a brand new wedding venue at the Chaska Curling Center. It was my first time shooting there and I loved it! Nick and Amy also hired the band The Castaways and the dance floor was on fire!

All the little details were not to be missed. N&A (and their daughter Laila) had a perfect wedding day, and a perfect start to their married life together! Cheers to them!
