I had looked at over 20 houses by the time I saw the one I purchased. The market has been so crazy at points I thought I should put an offer before even seeing a house, if it fit what I was looking for. My criteria was very specific, so my realtor and I basically sat and waited for houses to pop in the market. I knew I wanted it something in South or Northeast Minneapolis. I knew I wanted a Duplex for investment purposes, and I knew I wanted character. The moment I walked in this house I now call home I just knew it was the one. 

Since then I’ve remodeled my kitchen (pictures coming up!), and slowly have been putting things in place. It’s so fun to feel like this has become a home to myself and my two furry kids. Max and Ty love looking out the window and getting into trouble here. This is home and we love it! 

We have a huge backyard with a garden which will soon produce tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, spinach, pees, green beans, carrots, and watermelon. And the best part, I have e peony bushes!
